Well I've been in Ak for a week now. KIng fishing has been closed but I did get to fish for them for three days and averaged 2 to three a day. All wild and had to be released, that's why your still looking at them in the net. Ak rules, no fish is to be taken out of the water unless you are going to harvest it. Sockeye fishing has started off with a bang on the Kasilof river. Yesterday, We had three limits in a half an hour. It looks like we are going to have a strong Sockeye/Reds this season!!!
6/1/13 thru 6/12/13 I have to admit it was a pretty good season for me on the Upper Rogue. I did have some tough days but all an all we hooked fresh Spring Chinook everyday. The bad days were the days we couldn't get them to the net and the good days we did. I'm heading to AK tomorrow morning and I'm already to come back to fish the Rogue River for our Fall Chinook! Fish On!!!! I will be sending pictures from AK!
Yep that's me, You fishing guide!!!
I love Rogue River Spring Chinook!!!
Oh Yeah, I also guide for Rainbow Trout at Diamond Lake. Look at that Fatty on the left. It weighed 3lbs.
